History of Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center
Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center was established on March 23, 2003, with the mission to provide shelter, care, and hope for vulnerable children. It began its journey with 28 children, offering them a safe home and access to basic needs, including education, healthcare, and emotional support.
Over the years, the center has grown significantly and now cares for over 89 children, providing them with opportunities to thrive in a nurturing environment. Additionally, the center has positively impacted the lives of more than 125 children who have successfully transitioned into independent and productive members of society. These success stories are a testament to the center’s commitment to transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Located in Shabaha Village, in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center is dedicated to fostering a brighter future for the children it serves. The center is owned and managed by Mr. Lazaro Edward, whose vision and dedication have been instrumental in its establishment and continued growth.
Through the unwavering support of the local community and generous donors, Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center continues to be a beacon of hope for children in need, ensuring they grow up with dignity, love, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
